Fucking hell, 2GB DDR3 SODIMMs are now $30 after rebates (and only $50 before). One of these days I'm going to not pay attention to hardware for a year or two and computers are going to be free.

You'll just have a monthly subscription instead. Cellular carriers are now onto netbooks.

Software as a service is where it's at. Not long from now, you'll be paying for use instead of hardware, just as the cell business has been the last few years.
